Kapil Sharma is an Indian comedian, he was born on 2 April 1981 in Amritsar, Punjab. His father Jitendra Kumar was a head constable in Punj Police Department and mother Janak Rani is a homemaker. Kapil Sharma’s father was diagnosed with cancer in 1997 and was admitted to Delhi AIIMS in 2004.
Kapil Sharma did his schooling from Shri Ram Ashram Senior Secondary School and college from Hindu College Amritsar.
Kapil Sharma has one brother and one sister, Kapil Sharma’s brother Ashok Kumar Sharma is a police constable and sister Pooja Sharma Devgan is a housewife.
Kapil Sharma’s Career
Kapil Sharma started his career with the comedy show “Haste Raho, Hasate Raho”. After this, Kapil Sharma got a big opportunity in the comedy show “The Great Laughter Challenge”. Became the winner of this show in 2007 and got a check of ten lakhs. Then Kapil Sharma took part in the show “Comedy Circus” and also became the winner of the show, Kapil Sharma has also hosted “Jhalak Dikh La Ja” Season 6 and the comedy show “Chotey Miya”. Kapil Sharma has also participated in the comedy show “Ustado Ke Ustad”.

Kapil Sharma’s Filmy Career
Kapil Sharma made his debut with the movie “Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon”, a romantic-comedy.
It is a movie, its director “Abbas Mastan” did it, there are 4 opposite actress in this movie. Ellie Avram, Manjari Fadnis, Simran Kaur Mundi and Sai Lokur. This movie was released on 25 September 2015.
Kapil Sharma’s next movie “Firangi” which was directed by “Rajiv Dhingra” and produced by Kapil Sharma himself. This movie was released on 1 December 2017 which flopped badly. This movie got 2 out of 5 stars.
In the year 2018, Kapil Sharma produced a Punjabi movie named “Son of Manjeet Singh”, which was released on 12 October 2018.
In January 2022, Kapil Sharma announced that a biopic would be made on my life whose title would be “Funkar” or the director of this movie would be “Mrighdeep Singh Lamba”.

“The Kapil Sharma Show” and Kapil Sharma himself was producing this show. “The Kapil Sharma Show” started on 23 April 2016.
In 2017, Kapil Sharma was asking many times to cancel his show, to shoot. Due to which some actors like Ajay Devgan and Shah Rukh Khan and their crew were coming back from the set. During this, Kapil Sharma was so addicted to alcohol that he had to admit himself in Ayurvedic Ashram Karnataka, so that he could get rid of his alcohol addiction, but he ran away from the ashram and did not even complete his treatment.
Kapil Sharma’s Controversy
During this time Kapil Sharma was suffering from high blood pressure and some health issue, then Sunil Grover abused his fellow comedian in a drunken state, due to which Sunil Grover himself left the show. After which the TRP of the show kept falling day by day and after this there were many controversies and the show got closed again.
After this, in the year 2018, Kapil Sharma again launched the show, which was named “Family Time With Kapil”, but this show also closed in 3 episodes.
Kapil Sharma launched his new comedy show on 29 December 2018 with Salman Khan’s Production House, named “The Kapil Sharma Show”. This show started getting TRP again, then in the year 2020 “Krushna Abhishek” left the show due to money, after few episodes this show also stopped.
Now again “The Kapil Shama Show” Season 4 has started, from 10 September 2022.
Kapil Sharma’s Relationship
Kapil Sharma was in a relationship with “Preeti Simoes” for 8 years.
Preeti Simoes was the manager of the show “Comedy Night With Kapil” from where their affair started, which ended in 2017.
Kapil Sharma married “Ginni Chatrath” on 12 December 2018 in Jalandhar. Kapil Sharma’s daughter Born on 10 December 2019 and recently on 1 February 2021 this couple gave birth to another baby which is a boy.
